We can't believe our Autumn season is almost over already, however we have saved the best for last. Featuring Bess Keloid who did an impromptu set for us at BC16 when equipment failed, and Mild Man Jan returning to Burst Couch after four or so years. And lastly, Triclops shall be celebrating their 20th perfomance in whan we believe will be fine style.

Our aim was to allow Burst Couch to be as much of a social gathering and meeting point as a gig, thus the free entry, and smaller number of performers allowing for larger breaks in which to chat, buy more drinks (or better still buy CDs..) We hope that you agree with us and continue to support Burst Couch

Burst Couch#17:

Wed 12th October 2005, Briton's Protection Hotel, Manchester, England.

Number seventeen in the Burst Couch saga was the second in a run of 3 events, making up our Autumn Season. This time we asked Stephen McLaughlin to to back after a disastrous computer failure last time, alongside our own Illuminati showcasing his latest wares. Sadly the event was marred by a torrential downpour in Manchester combined with appaling traffic due to some football match or other taking place somewhere down the road. Still, those that did manage to turn up witnessed two sparkling performances from the Mac and the 'Nati. Nice one fellas.

Wed 28th September, Briton's Protection Hotel, 50 Gt. Bridgewater St. Manchester, England.

Number sixteen in the Burst Couch saga was the first in a run of 3 events, making up our Autumn Season. Disco Operating System went on for his first set, which did, as mooted, have a prog rock flavour. Then the staem powered clockwork PC decided to have a major wobbly thus rendering Stephen McLaughlin's or any further DOS sets utterly impossible. Damn. However, such was the friendly atmosphear that most people chose to stay on until well into booting out time.
