Manchester based musician Dave Clarkson records and plays live under the name Illuminati. His music involves physical, emotive and evocative leanings set in an electronic musical context. Works include albums ‘Searching for the New Land’ (Newsense recordings), Ocean Almanac (Lotta Continua) and numerous CDR's and compilation appearances released over the past five years. The work of Illuminati has been featured on BBC Radio 3, Resonance FM and as part of the 2004 Commonwealth Film Festival.

Dave is also one third of the experimental trio ‘Triclops’, co-organises the Burst Couch experimental music nights in Manchester and is co-founder and co-operator of the Lotta Continua record label together with Gareth Bibby.
